Weddings or Vow Renewals

non-religious wedding, vow renewal, civil marriage, civil ceremony

There is no reason why your marriage ceremony cannot be as unique as you are.

At the moment you can only legally marry in a place that has the appropriate licence - or you have to pay for one.  If you choose a celebrant to perform your marriage or civil partnership ceremony, you can almost hold it anywhere - without a licence. So, your own back garden, the beach or half way up a mountain are all suddenly possibilities!

Unfortunately the law still states that the legal part still has to be undertaken by a religious minister or a registrar, but we are hoping for a change in the law very soon. The legal bit, however, need only take 10 minutes then you can move onto have the ceremony that YOU want - not a one size fits all standard that is currently on offer from the alternatives.

I will work closely with you to make sure your ceremony is exactly what you want - music, readings, poems or special ceremonies such as hand fasting or unity candle are all available for you.

I will be happy to send you a copy of my marriage menu for  you to look over and we can arrange a no charge initial consultation to discuss the options in detail.

Vow Renewing

Renewing vows is much more popular today as a way of couples re-affirming their commitment to each other.

I will help make this a truly unique and personal experience for each couple and why not include your children too? There are ceremonies that can help them feel part of your special day.
